An engineering company specializing in soil mechanics and geotechnical fields seeks: **TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION SITE SAFETY OFFICER** Position Objective: Prevent accidents and ensure compliance with applicable Safety and Hygiene Regulations on site, safeguard personnel integrity, reduce operational risks, and avoid legal contingencies. Salary negotiable: $350 to $400 per day for the duration of the project. Working hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Work location: Colón Municipality, Querétaro State. Preference for candidates residing no more than one hour from the worksite. **REQUIREMENTS:** Technical degree or engineering degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Safety, or related field. Minimum one year of verifiable experience in a similar position. Knowledge of applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOM-STPS) for construction sites. Experience supervising operational staff on site. Proficiency in maintaining safety logs and reports. Leadership and firm character. Ability to manage documentary and photographic evidence. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Supervise proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Identify and correct unsafe acts to prevent accidents. Implement and monitor compliance with current safety regulations. Report hazards or improper equipment usage to management to trigger immediate action. Supervise preventive signage on site. Verify safe operating conditions of machinery and tools. Position Type: Project-based or fixed-term. Contract Duration: 10 days. Salary: $300.00 - $350.00 per day.
