We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to manage quotations, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and document control for a railway project.

A large-scale consortium is currently recruiting personnel for a railway project (Querétaro \- Irapuato Train) for the position of:
**PROCUREMENT ANALYST**
**Objective:**
Provide operational and administrative support to the procurement department by timely managing quotations, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and document control, ensuring efficient supply of materials, spare parts, tools, equipment, and services required for the project, while guaranteeing compliance with schedule, cost, quality, and internal organizational procedures.
**Requirements:**
* Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related degree.
* Additional training in procurement, logistics, or project administration is desirable.
* Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, acquisitions, or administration within construction companies.
* Experience in road, railway, urban development, or heavy construction projects is desirable.
* Experience interacting with suppliers and performing administrative follow-up.
**Technical Knowledge:**
* Procurement and supply processes.
* Preparation of purchase orders and comparative tables.
* Basic knowledge of construction materials, machinery, and spare parts.
* Basic interpretation of drawings and technical specifications.
* Document control and file management.
* ERP or administrative system proficiency.
* Intermediate Excel skills.
**General Responsibilities:**
* Request and track quotations for materials, equipment, tools, and services required by various departments and projects.
* Prepare supplier comparative tables considering price, quality, delivery time, warranty, and commercial terms.
* Generate and track purchase orders in accordance with company internal policies.
* Verify that purchased items comply with technical specifications and project requirements.
* Maintain up-to-date registers and files of authorized suppliers.
* Support the development and evaluation of strategic suppliers for infrastructure projects.
* Track material and service deliveries to ensure adherence to committed dates.
* Coordinate with warehouse staff and site supervisors to ensure proper receipt of materials and validation against purchase orders.
* Control and archive procurement documentation: quotations, purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and contracts.
