Accounts payable senior supervisor - temporary

**What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Summary** \#LI\-SL4 This role is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of accounts payable sub-processes related to: vendor invoice processing, customer service (tickets), vendor master data, payments, interface errors (IMDs), and on-hold invoices; within a shared services environment that processes 500\.000 invoices per year. The invoice volume will grow as additional Eaton Latin America business units integrate into the shared service center. This position has direct interaction with a team of employees hired by Genpact in Querétaro, Mexico, and Pune, India, who perform the tasks listed above, while promoting process improvement and continuous learning. This role is also responsible for managing key production metrics and activities associated with quality audits, as well as direct contact with clients (buyers, local finance teams, finance managers, RTR team, vendors). **Responsibilities** 1\.\- Escalations: support the PTP manager with escalations to ensure they are properly addressed and resolved. When necessary, request Genpact to conduct a root cause analysis to improve service and prevent recurrence. Upon receiving the RCA report from Genpact, review its details, ensure an action plan is established, and follow up via email and meetings. 2\.\- Data analysis: generate and analyze reports on accounts payable sub-processes, then prepare executive reports on trends, status, recurring issues, Pareto analyses, etc., to be presented to accounts payable leaders and plant leaders (finance managers, SCM managers, divisional controllers) to establish action plans supporting organizational objectives (aligned with 2025 goals). 3\.\- Action plans and continuous improvement: collaborate with the accounts payable manager and Genpact to develop action plans aimed at improving quality in the following sub-processes: customer service, payments, data entry, on-hold invoices, IMDs; using continuous improvement tools (BPI, A3, Pareto, root cause analysis, brainstorming, etc.). 4\.\- Communications: prepare formal communications to share with clients regarding PTP policies, tools, processes, support channels, visual aids, etc. Also responsible for preparing communications for SCM teams, finance managers, and/or divisional controllers regarding PTP metrics, trends, issues, etc. 5\.\- Meetings: schedule and lead calls with local finance or SCM teams, and with vendors, to address escalations or follow up on action plans. **Qualifications:** ------------------- Required Education Level Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Years and Area of Required Experience 5 years of experience Technical Skills* Experience with Microsoft Office or similar. * Oracle Financials and/or SAP. * Advanced English. * Digital tools such as Power Automate, Teams, Copilot, SQL, Power BI. * Experience supervising teams. * Experience developing accounts payable metrics. * Knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as BPI, A3, Pareto, root cause analysis, action plans, and business process improvements **Skills:** ----------- * Teamwork. * Results-oriented. * Problem analysis and resolution-focused. * Change management. \-Communication skills \- transparency. * Situational leadership. * Critical thinking. * Digital mindset.
