




**Manufacturing Planning Engineer** **Position Objective:** Plan, coordinate, and monitor manufacturing processes from the receipt of drawings or technical requirements to final delivery, ensuring productive efficiency, cost and time control, and proper allocation of human, material, and machinery resources. **Academic Background** · **Education level**: Completed engineering degree. · **Preferred majors (not limiting)**: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields. **Main Responsibilities** · Receive and perform technical analysis of drawings and 3D models · Identify required materials, tolerances, finishes, and processes. · Define operation sequences (machining, welding, assembly, treatment, inspection). · Select required machines, tools, and resources. · Prepare process sheets, routing, and standard times per operation. · Estimate manufacturing costs and lead times · Estimate material and tool consumption. · Generate manufacturing cost reports for quotation or internal control. · Coordinate and track work orders (OT/SIT) · Assign jobs to workshops according to capacity and priority. · Monitor progress, detect deviations, and propose adjustments. · Verify compliance with internal and external delivery dates. · Keep technical documentation up to date (drawings, process sheets, progress records). · Control versions and engineering changes. · Generate weekly production status reports. · Propose preventive or corrective actions. · Contribute to the development of manufacturing standards and knowledge base (know\-how). **Technical Competencies** · Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, assembly). · Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD\&T. · Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, NX, Mastercam). · Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Excel). · Time and method analysis. · Basic knowledge of industrial costs. **Personal Skills** · Analytical thinking and results orientation. · Effective communication with technical and administrative departments. · Organization, prioritization, and follow\-up. · Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Initiative to suggest improvements and optimize processes.
