This position follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to gather requirements, diagnose ERP configuration issues, assess risks, and deliver improvements. Responsibilities include writing code to extend the ERP platform, integrating other applications, and performing ongoing maintenance, updates, and incident resolution. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain systems by identifying and resolving software defects. * Participate in (and occasionally lead) all SDLC phases, including requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. * Follow established SDLC practices, coding standards, and naming conventions. * Support applications using structured programming, documentation, design reviews, and code reviews. * Collaborate with end users to define requirements and deliver user-centered solutions. * Perform other assigned activities. **Competencies** * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. * Results-oriented and proactive attitude; ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with integration and programming tools to automate workflows (e.g., Power Automate, PowerShell, EDI, Workato). * Experience working under an established SDLC; Agile team experience is a plus. * Ability to quickly learn new tools, thrive in dynamic environments, and work outside standard business hours when required. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field) or equivalent experience. * Advanced English * 3–5 years of relevant experience, including development on an established ERP system and its toolset. * Proficiency in SQL Server (2012 or later), T\-SQL, C\#, .NET, Python, and Microsoft development tools and frameworks. * Experience with Epicor or other recognized ERP systems preferred (one or more modules). **Travel** Travel availability required (estimated 10–20%). Must hold a valid driver’s license, be eligible to obtain a passport, and be willing and able to travel outside Mexico. **Work Environment** This position operates in a professional office and manufacturing plant environment, routinely using standard office equipment (computer, telephone, copier, file cabinet). **Physical Demands** The position is primarily sedentary, with occasional kneeling, bending, and standing required. **Position Type / Expected Work Schedule** The standard workweek is 48 hours. The general schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, schedules may vary by department and location and are defined by the area manager according to business needs.
