**Job Profile: Configuration Manager** **Job Objective:** Ensure proper management, control, and automation of development, testing, and production environments, guaranteeing traceability, quality, and security throughout software integration and deployment processes. **✅ Technical Requirements** **Configuration Management and Change Control** * Solid experience in configuration management for applications and infrastructure components. * Software version administration and control. * Experience in the following processes: * Change Management * Release Management * Deployment Management * Versioning and traceability * Management of controlled deployments across environments: * DEV, QA, PREPROD, PROD * Definition and execution of rollback and contingency plans. * Technical documentation * Validation of evidence and compliance for releases across various environments. * **Basic SQL Knowledge:** **DevOps / DevSecOps** * Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps practices. * Implementation and administration of CI/CD pipelines. * Integration of security controls into pipelines: * Static analysis * Vulnerability analysis * Dependency control * Hardening * Automation of deployment and configuration processes. **Tools and Platforms** **Required:** * Azure DevOps * Pipelines * Repositories * Releases * Boards * GitHub * GitFlow * Pull Requests * Branching Strategies * Releases * Code Review * Jira * Confluence * Datadog * Monitoring * Observability * Alerting * Dashboards * Experience administering and deploying on: * Kubernetes / EKS * Docker containers * Linux / AIX / Windows Server **Databases** **Mandatory experience in:** * Relational and non-relational databases. * Administration and support for deployments on: * Informix * YugabyteDB * PostgreSQL * SQL Server * Knowledge of: * SQL * Scripting * Query execution * Schema migrations * Database change control * Post-deployment validations * Desired experience managing distributed environments and high-availability systems. **QA and Test Management** * Experience coordinating validations and releases with QA teams. * Management and tracking of: * Unit test matrices * Test cases * Validation evidence * Acceptance criteria * Smoke test and sanity test validation following deployments. * Defect tracking and remediation. **Environment Configuration and Administration** * Experience configuring, controlling, and maintaining environments: * DEV, QA, PREPROD, PROD * Validation of configuration consistency across environments. * Management of environment-specific variables, parameters, and configurations. * Coordination of maintenance and deployment windows. * Tracking of technical dependencies and component compatibility. * Configuration version control and change evidence. * Experience deploying on Kubernetes/EKS and containerized platforms. * General knowledge of networking and telecommunications: **Soft Skills** * Effective communication with development, QA, infrastructure, operations, and security teams. * Strong organizational and tracking capabilities. * Attention to detail and quality focus. * Analytical ability and incident resolution under pressure. * Excellent documentation and change traceability. * Ability to work in critical, high-availability environments. **Academic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, Telecommunications, or related field. **Academic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. **Location and Schedule** * Location: Escandón neighborhood, CDMX (MB Nuevo León). * Work Mode: On-site, with possible hybrid arrangement. * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00–19:00 hrs (2-hour lunch break). **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits. * Enhanced benefits.
