Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service by managing operational processes and inventory. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on customer satisfaction Oversee general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize both damaged and undamaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their designated positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities as a role model and ensure employees provide customer consultation and fully utilize tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are detected. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, friendliness, and professionalism, and consistently apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost savings across all controllable consumptions within the team. * Assign and follow up on area supervisors’ tasks—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash count for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct cash register closings for assigned staff in accordance with AutoZone’s procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or operating in-store diagnostic stations, thereby preventing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
