




Job Summary: This position involves the safe transportation of goods, execution of complex vehicle maneuvers, cargo loading supervision, preventive maintenance of units, and document management for land transportation. Key Highlights: 1. Safe transportation of goods on federal or local routes. 2. Execution of complex maneuvers with double semi-trailers. 3. Comprehensive management of documentation and route-related procedures. * **Safe driving:** Transporting goods on federal or local routes while complying with traffic regulations. * **Yard maneuvers:** Performing complex coupling, uncoupling, and parking maneuvers with double semi-trailers. * **Loading and unloading:** Supervising or participating in cargo arrangement, securing, and stowage to ensure stability. 2\. Maintenance and mechanics * **Unit checklist:** Conducting visual and mechanical inspections (brakes, tires, fluid levels, lights) before and after each trip. * **Fault reporting:** Promptly notifying the traffic or maintenance department of any defects to prevent highway accidents. 3\. Procedures and administration * **Document management:** Carrying and verifying cargo documentation (invoices, customs declarations), vehicle documentation (registration cards), and personal documentation (Federal Type E License, medical fitness certificate). * **Logbooks and per diems:** Recording driving hours, reporting fuel and toll expenses, and reconciling per diem allowances upon route completion.
