




Profile * Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineer or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in the position. * MS Office. Minitab desirable. * Interpretation of drawings (Knowledge of GD\&T) * Advanced English, verifiable spoken and written * Willingness to travel 50% of the time Responsibilities * Responsible for ensuring purchased components meet internal and external requirements, under the level of function and responsibility defined in procedures; during prototype, launch, and SOP \+ 90 days. * Develop quality management elements applicable to their area, in accordance with AIAG’s APQP. * Review and update documents related to the parts approval process required by the end customer. * Participate in the coordination, development, and implementation of Advanced Quality Planning for purchased components, following specific customer and/or BorgWarner requirements. * Establish supplier engineering objectives jointly with the Supplier Quality Supervisor. * Conduct process audits and customer-specific requirement audits on suppliers’ quality management systems, according to the established schedule. * Develop necessary capabilities for suppliers to meet specifications, committed quantities, and service levels, providing training and resource management. * Comply with customer-specific requirements. * Develop suppliers following BorgWarner’s established process. * Coordinate activities related to the transfer of new and current projects with suppliers, as required (e.g., supplier relationship closure, cost reduction strategies, sourcing strategy, etc.). * Participate in and influence the quotation and selection process for purchased component suppliers. * Support supplier management for other Morse Systems plants with local suppliers, in coordination with the supervisor to determine priorities. * Responsible for maintaining the eAPQP system updated during launches and supporting the Supplier Quality Engineer until the purchased component has exited EPC and been released to series production. * Collaborate in planning and executing staff development and training programs, promoting effective transfer of technical knowledge.
