




**Junior Electromechanic Dry** =========================== **Position Summary**Location: Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico Company: Nestlé Purina Schedule: Full-time Technical High School Diploma or Engineering Degree (TSU or Bachelor’s): Commercial Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Mechanical Technician. Minimum 1 year of experience **Position Purpose**To maintain company assets in optimal operating and safety conditions through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities that preserve original operating conditions at predetermined intervals, following the maintenance strategy, optimizing available resources, and pursuing continuous improvement of the maintenance process to contribute to the company’s profitability and competitiveness (CDM, SAP, AMM), with responsibilities covering production and packaging areas. **A Day in the Life of...** * Conducts equipment inspections to detect anomalies using checklists and SAP alerts; reports detected anomalies to supervisor for scheduling and correction; generates SAP notifications for recordkeeping. * Executes activities derived from corrective maintenance programs. * Responds immediately to reactive maintenance requests. * Notifies SAP system upon completion of assigned work orders, indicating identified opportunities for improvement and materials used. * Participates in the Production Personnel Development Program (a program focused on professional-functional and personal development). * Proposes, develops, implements, and supports improvement ideas identified in respective areas. * Participates in continuous improvement of maintenance processes by updating equipment route sheets (cleaning, lubrication, inspection, etc.). * Attends shop-floor meetings related to analysis of equipment failures. * Maintains order and cleanliness in all areas where he/she operates. * Timely reports all incidents affecting the Plant or the Company. * Develops Safe Work Analyses identifying hazards (Safety Maps). * Ensures proper operation of equipment within his/her area of responsibility. * Performs failure analysis on equipment under his/her responsibility, supported by an ADA coach. * Knows, applies, and complies with the Plant’s Quality Policy. * Complies with and enforces GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. * Complies with procedures applicable to his/her work area. * Attends and participates in training programs related to the Plant’s Quality Management System. * Conducts all activities in accordance with established guidelines to ensure product safety manufactured at the Plant. * Knows and applies requirements defined in HACCP and food safety programs. * Supports smooth, efficient, and safe equipment release to customers. This includes all supporting documentation (e.g., procedures, operation manuals, layouts, technical manuals, maintenance sheets, general instructions, spare parts lists, etc.). * Participates in production process training programs to ensure correct execution from the maintenance perspective. * Operates industrial service equipment ensuring Plant functionality. * Participates in continuous improvement of maintenance processes by updating equipment route sheets. * Proposes, supports, and implements improvement ideas within his/her work area. * Proposes improvements to equipment or processes through technical modifications aligned with specific needs, utilizing CDM, SGI, and AMM, to increase Plant productivity. * Works in accordance with good maintenance practices, maintaining up-to-date technical documentation (e.g., operation manuals, layouts, technical manuals, maintenance sheets, spare parts lists, etc.) for all company assets. * Provides necessary support to ensure newly acquired assets meet sound design criteria (e.g., planned layout, appropriate equipment selection and specification, etc.) and fulfill business objectives, leveraging new technologies, proven principles, design reviews, and fundamental sciences. * Complies with operational controls (proper tools, equipment, and posture). * Identifies, records, and consistently communicates hazards and incidents in his/her workplace, understands OHSAS 18001 system procedures for system strengthening through behavioral and condition observation in his/her work area, thereby raising awareness and promoting a daily safety culture. * Focuses on results and proactive cooperation, actively identifying and communicating quantifiable improvements that drive objective achievement through continuous improvement behaviors. * Complies with and proactively supports corporate vision, mission, values, and principles, attending communications and meetings, demonstrating discipline and leading by example to achieve continuous operational improvement. **What Will Make You Successful:** * **Manual Handling, Blueprint Interpretation** * **Computer Proficiency: SAP, AMM, Microsoft Office** * **Industrial Mechanics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electricity, PLC, Control & Automation** * **Occupational Safety & Hygiene Standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)** * **Tool Handling (manual, power, etc.)**
