This role also oversees logistical and operational activities at port facilities, including handling, transfer, and documentation of drilling fluids and chemical materials. It combines advanced technical expertise with strong coordination and leadership capabilities to support safe and efficient operations. **As a Field Operator IV – FLD\_FLD‑E, you will be responsible for:** Field Solids Control Supervision * Supervise operation of solids control equipment, including shakers, desanders, desilters, centrifuges, pumps, and related systems. * Ensure safe and optimal equipment performance in accordance with operating procedures and customer requirements. * Perform and supervise shaker screen changes, selecting appropriate screen sizes based on well conditions and drilling parameters. * Conduct calculations and measurements to evaluate solids control efficiency in drilling fluids. * Identify operational deviations and coordinate timely corrective actions. * Verify compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards at all times. Logistical and Operational Control at Port Facilities * Supervise loading and unloading of drilling fluids and chemical materials. * Supervise fluid transfer and tank operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. * Coordinate access of transport units to port facilities, verifying documentation, permits, and compliance requirements. * Schedule and assign UPV units and bulk transport equipment according to vessel timing and operational needs. Operational Traceability and Reporting * Maintain accurate records of all fluid and chemical material movements, including volumes, equipment used, timing, and operational deviations. * Document incidents, operational findings, and relevant field observations. * Ensure full traceability for internal audits and customer requirements. Teamwork and Collaboration * Work closely with drilling, fluids, logistics, HSE, and port operations teams to ensure seamless execution. * Facilitate communication among field teams to achieve operational objectives. * Participate in operational meetings, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. **To succeed in this role, you must:** * Demonstrate strong technical experience in solids control systems and drilling fluid processes. * Show ability to make sound decisions in dynamic field environments. * Excel in organizing and managing multiple simultaneous operations. * Communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. * Maintain a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and operational discipline. * Possess the ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve operational issues. **Work in the way that works best for you** Field roles require on-site presence to ensure safe and effective operations.
