Crown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long\-term future. **Job Description:** The Printer Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial printing presses to produce high\-quality printed materials according to specifications. Responsibilities:\*\* * Operate and monitor printing equipment, including conventional and digital presses, ensuring proper functionality and print quality. * Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing presses, including changing ink, plates, and other consumables. * Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process to identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies. * Load and unload paper and other printing materials, ensuring proper handling and storage. * Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues with printing equipment. * Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and other specifications to set up presses accurately. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures. * Collaborate with other team members, such as designers and bindery operators, to ensure efficient workflow. * Record production data, including quantities produced, waste, and downtime. * Perform color matching and adjustments to meet client requirements.
