




**Controller – Housing Developer** **Job Description** We are seeking a **Controller** with solid experience in the real estate sector, capable of leading the financial, accounting, tax, and legal management of a housing development company. Your mission will be to ensure transparency of information, regulatory compliance, and efficiency in resource control, supporting strategic decision-making by Management. **Main Responsibilities** * **Tax and Legal**: Compliance with tax obligations (Income Tax, VAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, DIOT, etc.), handling audits and requests from authorities, supervision of vulnerable operations under Anti-Money Laundering Law, review of contracts and legal procedures. * **Accounting and Finance**: Processing and control of accounting records, preparation of monthly and consolidated financial statements, reconciliations with SAT, cost control per housing unit, financial analysis, and reporting to Management. * **Construction Budget Control**: Preparation and monitoring of construction budgets, validation of change orders, management of accounts receivable and payable, cash flow forecasting and administration. * **Financing Management**: Processing and follow-up of bridge and SME loans, negotiation of financial terms, and disbursement control. * **Internal Management**: Implement policies and processes that strengthen internal controls, operational efficiency, and asset protection. **Profile Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (certified, with professional license). * Minimum of **5 years of experience in controller roles**, preferably in real estate developers or construction companies. * Proficiency in general accounting, auditing, tax management, and budgetary control. * Knowledge of applicable real estate and tax legislation. * Desired: Master’s degree in Finance, professional certifications, and experience in real estate project financing. **Key Competencies** * Leadership and teamwork. * Analytical skills and strategic vision. * Ability to identify risks and propose solutions. * Effective communication with Management, investors, and authorities.
