Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Developer to build complex functionalities, analyze, design, code, and debug applications, provide technical guidance, and elevate code quality. Technical guidance to junior developers Due to growth at GM Transport Software, a company specializing in technological solutions for the transportation industry, we are looking for a **Junior Developer**. Responsible for the technical construction of complex functionalities; analyzes, designs, codes, tests, and debugs complex software applications and systems; provides technical guidance to junior developers to elevate the team’s code quality, leveraging modern development tools and automation workflows where they add value. **Requirements:** Degree in Computer Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. **English: 70%** ***Knowledge:*** * Languages and Frameworks: Typescript (Full\-Stack), NestJS, React * Databases: Advanced SQL Server, PostgreSQL, handling of triggers and stored procedures * Code documentation and use of AI coding assistants for development tasks (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) * API and web services handling, including data validation and information structure validation * Design patterns and software architecture fundamentals * Version control using GitLab and peer code review (Pull Requests) * Automated testing tools (unit and end\-to\-end) * Cloud services knowledge, preferably Microsoft Azure (Desirable) * Knowledge of AI agents and automation workflows applied to development, with ability to validate and adjust code generated by such tools. ***Main Responsibilities:*** * Analyze requirements to produce time estimates and implementation proposals aligned with expected outcomes * Meet delivery deadlines per request and sprint/project * Follow internal procedures for administrative tasks * Assertive estimation of development timelines * Review the release package for each sprint to ensure changes from assigned requests are included in the version * Comply with internal development standards and best practices for coding and database design **Years of Experience in This Role:** Minimum 1 year ***Benefits:*** * Grocery allowance * Gasoline allowance * 3 Quality\-of\-Life days per year (distributed quarterly) * Birthday day off * Savings fund (loan option available) * Subsidized cafeteria (50% subsidy) * Partnerships with optical, dental, and psychological services * Free medical consultation * Life insurance * Gym access * Free accommodation in an Ensenada condominium * Work schedule: Monday to Friday Employment Type: Full\-time Salary: Starting at $28,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Savings fund * Life insurance * Cafeteria service * Gym service * Free uniforms * Grocery allowances Workplace: On\-site employment
