A company specializing in the design and manufacturing of lighting fixtures, furniture, and jewelry is seeking: An Industrial Draftsperson to develop and realize creative concepts into technical and functional designs ready for production. Ensure design feasibility while optimizing processes and resources. **Education/Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Design Engineering, or related fields. **Knowledge Requirements:** * Experience in prototype creation and product development * Manufacturing and fabrication: familiarity with processes such as ceramics, jewelry-making, welding, or assembly * Understanding of all stages of product development: research, design, prototyping, testing, launch, and continuous improvement. **Electronic Knowledge:** * Proficiency in design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop). Basic knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory. * Digital rendering tools **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop technical designs based on sketches, specifications, and concepts provided by the Design and Development Committee, producing technical documentation, material specifications, and applicable technologies for the design and development process. * Create prototypes or functional samples to validate designs prior to large-scale production. * Collaborate with the production department to resolve technical challenges, ensure final product quality, and provide technical support to the design team in developing creative proposals and solutions. * Utilize 2D and 3D design and modeling software to produce drawings, renders, and presentations. * Participate in product reviews and functional testing to identify potential improvements or issues, ensuring compliance with the company’s quality guidelines and policies. * Ensure alignment between creative concepts and client expectations as well as commercial department requirements. **Experience:** 1–3 years in similar positions.
