Test, diagnose malfunctions, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., unclogging toilets and drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, switch and outlet replacements, and other guest room items. Program televisions and perform general engineering-related maintenance and inventory tasks. Use lockout/tagout procedures before performing maintenance work. Repair indoor and outdoor landscaping and outdoor irrigation systems. Demonstrate basic computer operation skills, including entering HVAC system schedules and adjusting temperatures. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain property information confidentiality; and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and fulfill guest service needs; assist guests with disabilities; and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; and listen to and appropriately respond to other employees’ concerns. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds (22.7 kg) or less without assistance, as well as lift heavier weights or perform tasks involving movement without assistance. Climb up and down stairs, service ramps, or ladders. Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting the waist, pulling, and stooping.
