At Fundación Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, we are seeking an **English Teacher** for Secondary School whose mission is to provide students with high-quality academic education, fostering the development of the knowledge, skills, and character strengths necessary for their lives and careers. Design, plan, and implement teaching activities in accordance with the SER Academic Model. Responsible for maintaining a culture of high academic rigor and values that develop in students the character strengths required to face life’s challenges. Deliver high-quality education by pursuing continuous improvement based on data to achieve outstanding academic results.
* Work Location: Av. Playa del Tambor, Manzana 22 Lote 1, Col. Costa Dorada, C.P. 23434, San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur.
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Education Sciences with specialization in English, Education with specialization in English, Secondary Education with specialization in English, Language Teaching, English Teaching, English Teaching and Learning in Secondary Education, English, or Pedagogy with specialization in English.
* Professional degree (mandatory) and professional license (desirable).
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Secondary School English teacher.
* Advanced English (B2).

Job Functions:
* Design, plan, and implement teaching activities.
* Use academic tools designed for classroom instruction, both for classroom management and instructional rigor.
* Design integrated classroom experiences, ensuring learning for each and every student.
* Teach and uphold the SER schools’ school culture by intentionally implementing necessary routines and systems.
* Ensure high academic rigor across all subjects through effective internalization.
* Administer assessments punctually, in accordance with the network’s guidelines.
* Actively participate in all trainings designed by the SER Academic Team and sustain learning by directly applying it in your school.
* Adhere to the work schedules and deadlines established by the school calendar.
Maintain a culture of high academic rigor and values:
* Maintain and promote healthy interpersonal relationships with students, the academic team, and the entire educational community.
* Follow up with families and students regarding compliance with the Commitment to Excellence. Convene and participate in interviews with parents/guardians to strengthen the school’s strategies toward students and families (at least two interviews per school cycle).
* Participate in one-on-one meetings with your school leader (or instructional coach in the case of secondary school) aimed at improving teaching skills through implementation of various SER strategies.
Academic Results:
* Attend weekly data meetings with your school leader (or instructional coach in the case of secondary school) to conduct in-depth analysis of progress, identify, and close student learning gaps.
* Attend feedback meetings with your school leader to maintain best practices and improve teaching strategies as advised by your leader.
* Honestly record and monitor your students’ academic results.
* Plan strategies to support students facing academic difficulties and elevate learning outcomes.
* Develop and implement your block action plan, based on data obtained from assessments.
