Financial and Administrative Director
Position Summary:
We are seeking a financial leader to consolidate, organize, and grow a family-owned refrigerated transportation company by overseeing finance functions and contributing strategic direction.
Key Highlights:
1. Design and implement financial and administrative strategy for the business.
2. Lead expansion projects and monetize existing inventory.
3. Professionalize the administrative and accounting team.
**Who We Are**
A Mexican family-owned company with over 35 years of experience in refrigerated cargo transportation and cross-border movement of perishable goods into the U.S. Additionally, we sell and lease tractor-trailer parts and refrigerated trailers, maintaining a robust inventory of units and spare parts.
We are undergoing professionalization and seek a candidate who, beyond managing finance, can contribute strategies to consolidate, organize, and grow the business.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Design and implement the company’s financial and administrative strategy.
* Manage cash flow, inventory, credit, and debt.
* Restructure financial obligations and manage corporate banking relationships.
* Create strategic reports for management and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Professionalize and supervise the administrative and accounting team.
* Implement internal policies and controls to improve efficiency and transparency.
* Design commercial growth strategies (new customers and markets).
* Develop plans to monetize existing inventory and generate new revenue streams.
* Propose and lead expansion projects in the refrigerated trailer and truck leasing business.
**Required Profile**
* **Age:** 40+
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* **Experience:** +5 years in financial/administrative leadership roles within medium- or large-sized companies.
* Experience in family-owned businesses and/or transportation/logistics is a plus.
**Technical Knowledge:**
* Corporate finance and debt restructuring.
* Inventory and cost control.
* Commercial growth strategies and customer acquisition.
* Negotiation with banks, suppliers, and customers.
**Skills:**
* Strong yet conciliatory leadership.
* Analytical ability and strategic vision.
* Aptitude for identifying business opportunities.
* Effective communication when interacting with family members, employees, and customers.
**Desirable / Key Attributes for this Role:**
* Experience working in **family-owned businesses**.
