Network Technician – Jr*Top Capita is seeking a Junior Network Technician in Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo***Position Objective** The Junior Support Engineer is responsible for **handling and resolving incidents, failures, and changes** reported by clients through the service desk, ensuring efficient and high-quality support. ️ **Main Responsibilities** * Register and categorize incidents reported to the service desk. * Identification and diagnosis of level 1 and 2 network faults. * Management of support tickets and documentation of activities. * Monitoring and tracking client network incidents until resolution. * Resolve requests related to Cisco telephony platforms. * Update the knowledge base with problem solutions. * Generate statistical reports and technical documentation. * Participate in special projects when required. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in **Computer Systems Engineering, Communications and Electronics, or related field** (graduated or in process). * Minimum of **1 year of experience in IT support**, administration of Windows services, and Cisco networks (Routing \& Switching). * **Technical English** (reading and writing). * Intermediate-level knowledge in network administration. * **Valid driver's license** and availability to travel. * Proactive attitude, teamwork skills, and problem-solving orientation. **Desirable (not mandatory):** * Knowledge of ITIL methodologies. * CCNA or similar certification. * Conversational English. **Soft Skills** * Good communication skills. * Professional and courteous demeanor. * Analytical and problem-solving ability. * Self-taught with initiative.
