It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities. **Job Description** =================== **Molding Engineer** Ensure that molding and engineering validation processes are executed efficiently, in accordance with BD standards, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimization of molding processes.**Responsibilities:** * Apply the Molding Validation Toolkit during the review, execution, and closure of validation exercises, verifying that the validation methodology and use of specific tools—such as risk analysis, development of control plans, and measurement system analysis—are successfully implemented to ensure compliance with BD standards. * Monitor adherence to the Master Validation Plan (MVP) and the Validation Program (VP), providing feedback to process owners and teams included in the validation program using appropriate performance indicators to ensure the MVP remains current and complies with applicable national and international regulations. * Provide support and ensure compliance with established Validation standards by authoring and executing validation protocols and reports using quality tools; reviewing and approving such documents, and enhancing the effectiveness of validation work to maintain and improve validation practices in alignment with corporate requirements. * Lead engineering projects by coordinating activities with multidisciplinary teams—including Quality, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, New Product Engineering, Finance, and Continuous Improvement—for equipment and machinery acquisition, installation, and commissioning. * Responsible for developing and implementing Change Controls for products, equipment, machinery, and processes, following internal and corporate guidelines for executing related activities. * Identify production needs for molding process optimization by reviewing line performance and analyzing relevant studies to ensure product quality and compliance with quality standards. * Track and respond to molded product complaints through the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) system to address internal or external customer concerns. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement. * Advanced English proficiency. * Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks. * Experience developing FMEAs. * Experience in project management. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. * Solid knowledge of plastic injection molding for creating and adjusting processes based on the scientific molding method. **Why Join Us?** ================ To find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
