The successful candidate will join a high-performance team to design, implement, and support pricing and risk management tools for traders and risk managers within BBVA Corporate \& Investment Banking (BBVA CIB) Markets. This role specializes in developing tools for XVA calculation, as well as capital and balance sheet management. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the Quantitative \& Business Solutions (QBS) team in developing valuation and risk management models and tools for derivative instruments used by business areas (Trading, Structuring, and Sales). * Assist in the official model approval processes for use by risk units, enabling official revaluation and risk measurement calculations (capital metrics, etc.). * Provide technical and quantitative support to business areas and risk units in using developed models and tools, ensuring their correct application. * Collaborate closely with the QBS team to ensure integration of models into production systems, guaranteeing appropriate handling of all relevant quantitative aspects. * Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the development platform to preserve its stability and scalability through regression testing and definition of interfaces aligned with best practices. **Job Challenges** The primary challenge of this position lies in productizing critical software and processes that directly serve the Trading desk. The incumbent must manage technical and financial uncertainty while ensuring XVA model accuracy and system stability, maintaining a proactive attitude and strong analytical capability in a highly demanding environment. **Requirements** **Knowledge and Experience** * **Mandatory Knowledge:** Quantitative finance, valuation models, advanced C\+\+ programming, and DevOps methodologies. * **Desirable Knowledge:** Python programming, (CI), and general knowledge of the financial sector. * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in quantitative disciplines (STEM), such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
