




Position Summary: Provides operational support in the store for sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to meet performance metrics and ensure store success. Key Responsibilities: 1. Participates in store merchandising and presentation 2. Provides customer service and clarifies product-related questions 3. Executes cash register transactions and completes sales closures Provides floor-level operational support in the store by executing sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service processes established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet operational and commercial store metrics. * Arranges merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in trucks according to applicable merchandising guidelines. * Implements correct planograms; * Scans merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Performs proper fronting and labeling to categorize merchandise and participates in opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure accurate merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Assists customers by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and price to deliver excellent service reflected in counter sales closures; handles customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Correctly executes cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and processes returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales closure transactions. * Completed high school education * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience is desirable.
