Position Summary: A General Medicine professional with experience in occupational medicine, responsible for assessing occupational fitness, managing medical records, and ensuring regulatory compliance in occupational health. Active contribution to health campaigns and professional ethics Bachelor's Degree in **General Medicine** Minimum years of experience: **3 years.** Desirable: **Specialization or diploma in Occupational Medicine** **Responsibilities:** 1. Determine the occupational fitness of candidates or workers (fit, unfit, fit with restrictions). 2. Evaluate physical conditions relevant to safety-related functions (endurance, visual acuity, hearing, cardiovascular conditions, etc.). 3. Identify risk factors affecting job performance. 4. Prepare comprehensive occupational medical histories. 5. Compile and safeguard medical records in accordance with personal data protection regulations. 6. Issue technically supported occupational medical opinions. 7. Ensure compliance with applicable NOMs, primarily: * NOM-030-STPS (Preventive safety and health services at work) * NOM-017-STPS (Personal Protective Equipment) * NOM-004-SSA3 (Clinical record) * NOM-035-STPS (Psychosocial risk factors, in coordination with HR) * Verify minimum health requirements for high-risk functions (e.g., security guards). 8. Coordinate with immediate supervisor for candidate validation. 9. Collaborate with safety and operations departments to define risk profiles. 10. Refer cases to specialists when medically relevant findings are identified. 11. Monitor medical restrictions for active personnel. 12. Recommend preventive and corrective measures. 13. Participate in occupational health campaigns. 14. Guarantee confidentiality of medical information. 15. Act in accordance with ethical principles and professional responsibility. 16. Avoid discrimination and issue objective opinions.
