




Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service and adherence to operational processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and AutoZone-provided testing and diagnostic equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying areas requiring improvement and training. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s established dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, friendliness, and professionalism, and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable consumptions within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise arrangement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as reviewing the daily cash count for the main register, performing cash sweeps, and conducting register closings for your direct reports in accordance with AutoZone’s procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when arranging merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store testing stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
