We firmly believe that the combination of solidarity, innovation, respect, loyalty, and responsibility is the perfect formula to become the best team in the financial sector. **Job Objective:** Provide support for securities administration, including issuer onboarding and maintenance, confirmation of capital market transactions, as well as application of rights and/or corporate events decreed by various issuers, ensuring their accurate settlement and verification within investor account statements, thereby maintaining sound control over our investor clients’ securities positions. Each day you will face **new and interesting challenges** in your role, where you will be responsible for: * Supporting buy and sell transactions executed by the capital markets desk, ensuring their proper allocation and settlement within established timeframes. * Confirming transactions with various brokers and/or foreign clients with whom Banorte Securities operates, ensuring information accuracy for subsequent T\+1 settlement. * Reconciling trading session closing figures against reports from stock exchanges (BMV and BIVA). * Monitoring arbitrage transactions, short sales, and securities lending activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and sound market practices. * Maintaining constant communication with our custodian and intermediaries to ensure correct settlement of transactions in domestic and foreign markets (Indeval, CCV, Euroclear, DTC, and BNP). * Maintaining appropriate controls for commission collection from our clients and intermediaries per transaction. * Performing month-end closing activities, balancing proprietary or foreign client position contracts, validating issuers in default or non-compliance, and capturing stock market indicators for inclusion in account statements. * Reassigning orders upon request from our internal control department. * Notifying BMV of increases or decreases in shares held in the group’s repurchase fund (GFNORTE). * Supporting the review process of the Securities House, Bank, and Investment Fund account statements for subsequent release; managing the SIC issuer list per request from our capital markets desk with either Mexican stock exchange (BMV or BIVA); and properly administering physical shares for subsequent delivery to investor clients. * Executing, monitoring, reporting, and tracking settlements and records arising from corporate events decreed by issuers—including interest payments (coupons), amortizations, and dividends—for domestic issuers and SIC issuers, for clients holding investments at Banorte Securities, ensuring accurate calculation per rights notices and thereby avoiding reconciliation discrepancies at daily operational close. * Timely submission of information related to rights exercises (notices to holders) or corporate events, etc., ensuring the sales promotion team is fully informed should action be required and/or they need to inform investor clients. * Applying stock splits, reverse splits, exchanges, spin-offs, and any other corporate events decreed by issuers for which we hold positions. **Requirements:** * Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science (the latter two with particular interest in securities finance). * Years of experience: Recent graduate or 1 year of experience in Operations, Back Office, Banking, Finance, and/or Securities Sector. * Areas of experience: Economic\-Administrative, Operations, and Finance areas. * Required knowledge: AMIB Certification Figure III (Desirable), Securities Market, Microsoft Office Suite, Intermediate\-Advanced Excel (Macro development in Visual Basic is mandatory) * Languages: Intermediate\-Advanced English (Required for telephone confirmation of transactions with foreign brokers) * Willingness to travel: No * Willingness to relocate: No At Banorte, we operate under a principle of equal opportunity.
