A prestigious restaurant group with presence in Mexico City is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Cost Analyst**. This position is critical to ensuring accurate cost control, supporting business profitability, and maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. **Responsibilities:** * Control and coordinate activities related to cost management and recording. * Maintain and update cost control policies and procedures. * Analyze, interpret, and explain variances from standard cost. * Verify invoices for price adjustments, vendor requests, or internal changes. * Prepare cost component forecasts and budgets. * Prepare, review, analyze, and deliver balance sheet account reconciliations timely and accurately. * Ensure proper execution of physical inventories (biweekly and monthly) and their reconciliation against the system. * Create and review inventory forms. * Coordinate with operational managers for cost and expense tracking (cost of goods sold calculation). * Add and remove products in the internal system and create SKUs. * Weekly and monthly closing of purchases, reimbursements, transfers, and shrinkage. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Gastronomy, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field. * **Minimum experience:** 3 years in cost analysis, preferably in the restaurant or food and beverage industry. * Advanced Excel skills and experience with inventory management systems (ERP or restaurant-specific software). * Knowledge of budgeting, financial statements, and standard costing. * Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. * Availability to attend physical inventory counts. **We offer:** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits. * Growth opportunities within an expanding company. * Excellent work environment. * Ongoing training.
