Senior Android Developer – Banking Sector \| Hybrid role in Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX At Babel, we are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join a major client in the financial sector. We seek talent with solid experience in developing native applications, modern architecture, and best practices in security and performance. Work mode: Hybrid (2–3 days in office) ️ Location: Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City Industry: Banking ✅ Key requirements: * More than 5 years of experience developing native Android applications. * Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with advanced knowledge of Android Jetpack, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles. * Experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, Room, Coroutines, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitrise). * Automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso). * Proven experience in the financial sector (minimum 3 years). * Knowledge of mobile security and OWASP Mobile best practices. * Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Key responsibilities: * Design and develop high-performance, secure Android applications. * Participate in defining scalable architectures. * Implement automated testing and continuous integration processes. * Collaborate with Backend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.
