A public works supervision assistant is required. Work period for 5 months. Work area: Coyoacán (20 minutes from Taxqueña). Work during night shifts (9 pm to 5 am). Civil engineer or architect. Proven experience in: Public works, urbanization, public lighting, curbs and sidewalks, walkways and public parks. Candidates must have completed 100% of their studies, preferably with a professional license or in the process of obtaining it. Requirements: 1\. Knowledge in quantification and generation of civil works volumes (urbanization, curbs and sidewalks, parks, walkways, plazas, safe roads and pathways), and basic knowledge in electrical works, low and medium voltage circuits for public lighting. 2\. Intermediate Excel skills (dynamic tables are not required). 3\. Strong communication skills for negotiation and reconciliation of quantity measurements, as well as interaction with government agency personnel. About the job: The position involves on-site supervision of public works projects assigned to the company. The main responsibilities include: . Supervising contractor work crews in the field during work shifts across various project fronts assigned to the company. . Ensuring compliance with safety requirements at the worksite, including proper barricading of work areas, and verifying that workers wear required personal protective equipment such as helmets, vests, and safety shoes; ensuring compliance with hygiene standards and preservation of the urban environment during construction activities. . Ensuring quality standards for materials and construction processes are met. . Ability to make decisions to resolve on-site issues related to construction procedures, authorize section completion for the contractor, correct potential construction errors, or instruct the contractor on the proper methods to carry out assigned tasks. . Preparing field minutes, performing quantifications and generating reports at project fronts, reconciling them with the contractor's site management, and taking photographs of construction processes executed by the contractor. . Channeling necessary information to the office to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports of the work execution. When required, assisting in preparing documents needed to compile the single supervision file and cost estimates. . Attendance at work meetings and site walkthroughs is essential, addressing requirements from the client (government agency); availability for these activities is required. .
