Job Summary: Net & Sec Pre-Sales Engineer who supports the pre-sales process by designing, analyzing, and presenting network and security solutions, acting as a liaison between sales and technical teams. Net & Sec Pre-Sales Engineer (Networking & Security) JOB OBJECTIVE Support the pre-sales process by designing, analyzing, and presenting network and security solutions aligned with the client's technical and business needs. The Net & Sec pre-sales consultant acts as a liaison between the sales department and the technical team, ensuring proposals are viable, competitive, and aligned with the organization's technological and strategic standards. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts technical and commercial assessments of customer requirements through understanding of our portfolio’s solutions and products. Analyzes customers’ technical and operational requirements. Designs network and security architectures appropriate for project needs. Provides technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales process. Develops technical proposals, diagrams, scopes, and sizing documents. Participates in technical presentations, discovery sessions, and demonstrations. Collaborates with technology manufacturers and partners. Ensures proposed solutions comply with best practices, standards, and security regulations. Supports the transition from pre-sales to implementation (handover). REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technologies, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, implementation, or support for networks and/or security. Experience collaborating with both commercial and technical departments. Technical Knowledge: Networking: Routing & Switching, LAN / WAN / WLAN; Firewalls, VPN, VLANs. Security: Perimeter security, Access control, Cybersecurity best practices. Familiarity with vendors such as: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Meraki, Sophos (as applicable). Ability to create: Technical diagrams, proposals, and solution documentation. Technical English (reading and comprehension).
