**Position Objective:** Ensure proper administration, control, and traceability of technical and financial documentation for special systems projects, integrating document management with cost estimation, progress tracking, and operational reporting. The position holder will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date document control, creating drawings in AutoCAD, generating accurate estimates, and supporting engineering, project, and operations teams in the technical and economic validation of deliverables. **Main Responsibilities: Document Control:** * Manage the project document control system, ensuring organization, traceability, and updated versions. * Register, review, and classify drawings, diagrams, technical specifications, manuals, and site reports. * Create, modify, and validate technical drawings in **AutoCAD**, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards. * Control versions and revisions of technical documents (versioning, coding, revision stamps, deliverable tracking). * Compile and maintain **technical files and “As Built” documentation** for client delivery. * Collaborate with engineering, supervision, and project management to ensure document consistency and regulatory compliance. **Estimations and Progress Control:** * Prepare **construction cost estimates** based on physical and financial project progress. * Validate quantities of completed work through drawing reviews, field reports, and photographic evidence. * Coordinate with supervision and site supervisors for volume reconciliation and measurements. * Prepare and submit **monthly progress and cost estimate reports** for client review and approval. * Maintain supporting documentation for estimates (invoices, field reports, sketches, etc.). * Support **budget forecasting, indirect cost control, and resource management**. * Participate in construction follow-up meetings and financial progress reviews. **Technical and Administrative Support:** * Prepare internal control reports on documentation, estimates, and project progress. * Assist in preparing for internal audits or client reviews. * Coordinate the receipt and distribution of technical information among different project areas. * Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and secure physical and digital storage of all documentation. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Technical degree or Engineer in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial, Civil, or related field. * **Minimum experience:** 3 to 5 years in document control, cost estimation, and project management for **special systems or construction projects**. * **Technical skills:** * Advanced proficiency in **AutoCAD**. * Knowledge of **special systems**: fire detection, CCTV, access control, voice and data, automation, etc. * Experience in **construction cost estimation and monitoring of physical and financial progress**. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**, Word, and document management software. * Basic knowledge of technical standards (NOM, NFPA, ISO, among others). * Strong **numerical and analytical skills** for reviewing metrics, costs, and volumes. * Attention to detail, precision, and high level of organization.
