Join our team to continue building our success story together. **Position Description** -------------------------- As a Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering therapeutic massages to guests, focusing on soft tissues and joints. This role may assist in assessing range of motion and muscular strength, as well as developing customized therapy plans for each guest. **Position Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- * Assess guests’ specific needs, such as muscle stiffness, joint mobility, or stress relief. * Develop customized therapy plans based on individual guest requirements. * Apply a variety of massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. * Maintain open communication with guests, adjusting massage techniques as needed to ensure comfort, satisfaction, and effectiveness. * Document treatments, progress, and guest concerns to provide the most comprehensive care possible. * Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and professional standards. * Maintain the highest level of guest confidentiality and professionalism at all times. * Educate guests on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care techniques for home use. * Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned. **Work Experience** ----------------------- * Requires knowledge and skills acquired through formal training or substantial work experience. * Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. * Has 2–3 years of work experience. **Competencies** ---------------- Accountability Business Acumen Championing Guest Needs Self-Development Impact Interpersonal Skills Functional Job Knowledge Leadership Problem Solving Teamwork and Collaboration**Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. **Certifications** ------------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
