




**Position Summary** * Location: Cuautitlán, State of Mexico * Company: Nestlé Purina * Full time * Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Environmental Engineering * English level: Intermediate (mandatory) * 3\- 5 years of experience participating in the execution of construction projects and rack installation, preferably in distribution centers, handling environmental requirements and issues. **Position Mission** Ensure excellence in Safety, Health, and Environmental Sustainability during construction. Develop and communicate the SHE management plan for a project and ensure its effective implementation. Monitor site standards, recognizing good performance, challenging and managing poor performance. Communicate with local authorities as well as Nestlé stakeholders. **A day in the life of...** 1\.\- Ensure compliance with legislation, as well as Nestlé SHE principles and standards by integrating SHE into different project phases such as planning, operational reviews, design for construction, and contractor management. 2\.\- Develop the project’s SHE management plan and communicate it to project management and contractors. Ensure the plan includes effective risk management procedures for worker orientation and training, such as: Risk assessments, Safe work methods, Hazard prediction, Lifting calculations, Specific permits for high-risk tasks (Heights, Excavations, Load lifting, Hot work, Confined spaces, Electrical work, Lines with hazardous fluids, Demolitions), as well as a site-specific emergency plan. The management plan may be modified throughout the project lifecycle as risks change during different project phases. 3\.\- Ensure a safe and healthy site: Guarantee safe access and exit routes, proper signage reflecting relevant project risks, implement high standards of health and hygiene conditions for workers, including appropriate emergency medical response. 4\.\- Ensure safe work practices: Implement procedures for managing site risks. Ensure implementation of specific safety practices focused on high-frequency risks such as: Slips, trips and falls at floor level, injuries caused by sharp points and edges, as well as high-risk tasks (Heights, Excavations, Load lifting, Hot work, Confined spaces, Electrical work, Lines with hazardous fluids, Demolitions). 5\.\- Develop knowledge among managers and team leaders through training to enhance their understanding of risk management under applicable regulations. Provide support and coaching to the site management team. 6\.\- Provide support and coaching: Ensure managers receive guidance and support on SHE matters. Identify and leverage best practice knowledge from within Nestlé and external sources. Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver high-quality and efficient SHE support. Conduct on-site monitoring to identify exposures and training needs. 7\.\- Audits and Reviews: Ensure compliance with established procedures and standards through continuous performance review. Results are used to drive further improvements and promote effective communication of successes and learnings, including recognition of positive outcomes. **What will make you successful…** Knowledge in: * Handling SHE indicator systems (Safety, Health and Environment). * ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 management systems. * NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence) / TPM (Total Performance Management) tools. * Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply and Human Resources. * Local, state and federal regulatory guidelines and standards (SGI = Integrated Management System). * Personnel management tools, including communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. * Contractor management
