**Position Objective** Ensure the **financial health, liquidity, and profitability** of the company through daily cash flow control, proper financial planning, cost analysis, and the development of strategies that drive sustained growth and operational efficiency at *Somos Cartón*. **Main Responsibilities** 1. **Cash Flow Management** * Supervise income, expenses, and bank balances on a **daily** basis. * Monitor and forecast cash flow for **30, 60, and 90 days**. * Set up alerts for liquidity risk. * Coordinate payment and collection schedules with management, sales, and procurement. 2. **Financial and Budgetary Planning** * Prepare and track **monthly and annual budgets**. * Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results. * Evaluate profitability by product line, customer, and project. * Present weekly and monthly financial reports to management. 3. **Accounting and Tax Control** * Oversee the accurate accounting of income, expenses, inventory, and fixed assets. * Ensure compliance with tax obligations and SAT reporting. * Coordinate internal or external audits. 4. **Costs and Profitability** * Analyze **cost per square meter and per box produced**. * Determine margins by product, customer, or machine. * Propose cost reduction strategies without affecting quality or service. 5. **Financial Strategy** * Evaluate investment projects (new machinery, expansions, etc.) using **ROI, IRR, NPV, and break-even analysis**. * Develop **financing or leasing strategies** to optimize cash flow. * Align financial planning with commercial and production strategy. 6. **External Relations** * Negotiate with banks, leasing companies, and financial service providers. * Manage credit lines, financing, or machinery leasing. **Ideal Candidate Profile** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Administration, or related field. * Preferred: Certification or master’s degree in Corporate Finance or Strategic Planning. **Experience:** * 5+ years in financial control, cost accounting, or treasury within manufacturing industry. * Experience managing daily cash flow, budgets, and financial analysis. * Preferred experience in cardboard, packaging, plastics, or industrial production. **Technical Skills:** * Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, dashboards). * ERP or accounting software (CONTPAQi, Odoo, SAP Business One, QuickBooks). * Production costing and margin analysis. * Financial analysis (ROI, NPV, IRR, discounted cash flow). * Basic knowledge of Mexican tax regulations. **Competencies:** * Strategic planning and analysis. * Leadership and teamwork. * Effective communication and clarity in presenting information. * Sense of urgency and composure under pressure. * Honesty and strong sense of responsibility. **Work Schedule** Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 hrs.
