**Role Description:** The Web Programmer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend systems and data integrations that support key operational initiatives within the healthcare sector. **The ideal candidate is a hands\-on backend developer with strong experience in SQL Server, SSIS, ETL processes, and building Web Services/APIs to enable secure and efficient data exchange across platforms.** **Role Duties:** * Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C\#, SQL Server, and Web Services/Web API. * Build, optimize, and manage ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), ensuring efficient and accurate data movement between internal systems and external partners. * Develop automated solutions to support operational programs such as the Social Determinants of the Insured initiative and the Returned Payment Card Project, integrating multiple data sources to enhance reporting and operational efficiency. * Create SQL\-based tools, stored procedures, and scripts to support data analysis, validation, and processing. * Collaborate with IT Operations, Data Management, and Business Units to understand requirements and translate them into scalable backend solutions. * Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, focusing on database performance tuning, data integrity, and API reliability. * Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, security protocols, and best practices for system integration. * Maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and development guidelines. **Education \& Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * **Proven experience in backend development using C\#, .NET, SQL Server, and Web Services/Web API.** * **Hands\-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), ETL pipeline development, and relational database design.** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with deep attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment and manage multiple concurrent initiatives. * Excellent communication and documentation skills. **Plus:** * Bilingual (English and Spanish) – preferred for cross\-team collaboration. * Experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, API Management, or DevOps). * Background in the healthcare industry. * Active Batch certification (preferred).
