




Position Summary: The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator administers, implements, and ensures regulatory compliance with HSE and sustainability policies, supporting product safety and integrity. Key Responsibilities: 1. Administer and implement Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies. 2. Coordinate HSE training for personnel. 3. Support supervisors in implementing safety programs. GENERAL POSITION OBJECTIVE. The objective of this position is to administer, implement, sustain, and ensure regulatory compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws related to Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environment, and Sustainability, as well as support the Quality department regarding Product Safety and Integrity. III. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY / PRIMARY FUNCTIONS 1. PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Failure to perform these correctly or on time may cause production stoppages, waste, or impact other processes). * Establish and monitor the company’s Safety and Environmental Management System. * Ensure compliance with applicable Safety and Environmental laws and regulations. * Respond to governmental and customer audits, and follow up on audit-related requests or requirements concerning EHS&S. * Coordinate and/or deliver training to all personnel on Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements. * Conduct facility inspections and walkthroughs. * Support supervisors and department heads in implementing and monitoring regulatory and corporate safety programs. * Administer the First-Line Leaders, Department Heads, and Managers Scorecard. * Monitor and follow up on the Pest Control Program. * Provide first-aid medical assistance to internal and external personnel. * Train company Emergency Response Teams. * Follow up on activities assigned to the Plant Physician in coordination with Human Resources Management. * Verify and monitor, in coordination with Human Resources Management, the Occupational Health Program based on plant needs and corporate requirements. * Categorize and report to the Safety Committee the results achieved in Health, Safety, and Environment. * Deliver 5-minute safety talks. * Implement and monitor the annual EHS training plan. * Maintain and promote the LIFE culture. * Evaluate contractors and train them on applicable EHS policies and procedures at the facility. * Promote a safety culture at the facility. * Monitor and ensure completion of medical examinations and anti-doping tests in coordination with Human Resources Management.
