




Involves providing courteous and efficient package delivery, sorting and collection services and ensure the delivery of packages by completing necessary paperwork and recording shipments in accordance with FedEx Express service standards. Job Description: * Provides efficient and secure package and document delivery and collection while representing the company in a professional manner. * Operates non-articulated vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with all government and corporate procedures. * Conducts accurate and timely selection and inspection of assigned packages, and reports stopped counts and misclassifications. * Seeks additional business from existing customers, attempts to obtain new business (refers contacts to the sales department), and informs the sales department of significant customer changes or competitor actions. * Responds to customer inquiries regarding FedEx service functions and keeps customers informed about the company and its services. * Ensures packages meet FedEx service requirements; proper labeling is provided; and all documentation is complete, organized, and accurate. * Validates that package contents are legal, including special requirements for handling hazardous materials and international shipments, and separates packages by service type and destination according to established procedures. * Scans packages according to prescribed procedures and demonstrates proficiency in service features and equipment. * Ensures customers have an adequate supply of FedEx shipping materials. * Gathers air and ground packages as required by sort operations. * Loads and unloads aircraft, containers, and company vehicles, and operates mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload packages. * Cleans, washes, and performs minor maintenance on company vehicles as needed, and maintains a neat and clean personal appearance to uphold the company's public image. Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education Level: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic English preferred. Minimum Experience: * One (1) year of professional driving experience. * Valid commercial driver’s license, type appropriate for the assigned vehicle according to country-specific regulations. * Good driving record. * Must be at least 21 years of age. Minimum Required Skills: * Ability to lift 32 kg and handle packages up to 68 kg with proper equipment. * Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork abilities. * Must successfully complete the Reading, Map Reading, Sorting, and Mathematics sections of the Basic Skills Test. * Customer service orientation with strong organizational skills. * Problem-solving ability. * Attention to detail. * Planning and organizational skills. * Teamwork. * Availability to work variable shifts.
