We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Sr. Plastic Injection Technician, highly experienced with a minimum of 7 years of experience in plastic injection. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following: Job Description of the Senior Plastic Injection Technician Plastic injection technicians are skilled mechanics who install, set up, repair, and maintain industrial machinery. They typically work in manufacturing plants or small factories where they ensure the proper functioning of internal production equipment. We are seeking a qualified plastic injection technician to supervise the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. As an injection technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular maintenance services and procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. To ensure success as a plastic injection technician, you must have advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, PLCs, and robotics, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong time management abilities. Ultimately, a top-class industrial maintenance technician drives production by ensuring all production equipment operates correctly and receives regular maintenance. Responsibilities: * Read and interpret engineering blueprints. * Install new production equipment. * Perform production changeovers on machinery and equipment according to customer demand and ensure production quality meets all technical requirements on time. * Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyors, transmissions, and related production equipment. * Inspect and evaluate the functionality of production machines. * Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns. * Adjust mechanical parts using manual and mechanical tools. * Fabricate parts for machine repairs and upgrades. * Perform routine maintenance and safety checks. * Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean work area. * Prepare and submit maintenance reports. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. * Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician. * Bilingual (Spanish\-English) and additional languages are an asset. * In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance. * Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems. * Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC systems. * Familiarity with ISO safety standards and regulations. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Basic computer and report writing skills. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment. * Good time management skills. * Availability to travel during the first six months of employment to Canada, Quebec, and the U.S. for training. * Must possess a U.S. visa (B1 / B2\) Join us in our mission to continue leading the future of the global packaging and container industry by offering the right container, for the right product, manufactured the right way.
