Job Summary: Student to support the Yard Logistics Engineering team in defining and implementing new processes to improve efficiency and cost savings. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in efficiency and cost-saving projects. 2. Identify and correct inefficiencies in logistics/shipments. 3. Track reusable packaging issues and packaging-related projects with suppliers. Intern for Jrz2 Plant | Yards Active students (one year or more until graduation) pursuing degrees in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related fields. General Description Work collaboratively with the Yard Logistics Engineering team to support the definition and implementation of new processes aligned with BRP’s needs and changes. Key Duties and Responsibilities Participate in projects aimed at improving material handling efficiency and cost-saving initiatives. Identify inefficiencies in logistics/shipment processes and implement corrective actions. Track reusable packaging issues and packaging-related projects with suppliers and/or procurement. Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the supervisor. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Education Good understanding of English at a 50% level (oral and written). Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and/or SAP. Basic knowledge of shipping, packaging planning, and process balancing. Self-directed, strong interpersonal skills, and basic knowledge of mobile equipment.
