




Location: Altamira Tamaulipas, TAM, MX, 11520 Req ID: 88883 Facility: ALTAMIRA\-206 Department: Altamira Operations Division: Global APS Production Operator **Position Summary** -------------------------- Carry out orders assigned by the Production Supervisor, taking appropriate measures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards required for operations and timely fulfillment of production orders, with materials within requested specifications. ### **This position is affiliated with the National Union of Workers in the Chemical, Petrochemical, Coal Chemical, Energy, and Gas Industries.** **Roles and Responsibilities** ----------------------------- * Take over from the outgoing operator, being informed of any possible anomalies both verbally and through logs. * Receive instructions from the shift Production Supervisor to maintain continuity of the production process. * Substitute for any production operator (regardless of work area) in the plant. * Coordinate machine start-up and shutdown together with the Shift Supervisor. * Perform process controls during the shift. * Monitor data collection, both from the production line and additive batch preparation. * Prepare, with shift personnel, equipment or facility release for repairs, coordinate maintenance interventions, and verify the condition of equipment. * Review and control quality of finished batches, reporting information to the Shift Supervisor, identifying products within specification and materials not meeting required specifications. * Prepare mixtures and dose raw materials on production lines. * Supply charges, minerals, additives, and raw materials; recover packaging, dust, and unused mixtures. * Prepare product loading and unloading (cleaning for material changes). * Keep their work area clean and in optimal safety condition, actively participating in continuous improvement processes. * Complete necessary documentation for raw material control and manage supply in case of shortages; supervise loading and unloading. * Control and participate in continuous improvement in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment, participating in personnel training. * Operate forklifts and lifting equipment, as applicable. * Safeguard quality standards by identifying, reporting, and removing any product not meeting established regulations. * Verify full operation of area equipment. * Report scrap material and current status. * Report raw material usage for accurate consumption recording in SAP system. **Requirements:** --------------- **Education** * High school diploma or technical degree desirable. **Work Experience** * At least 2 years of experience in the petrochemical industry. **Other Skills** --------------------- * Build effective teams. * Collaboration. * Foster innovation. * Customer orientation. * Demonstrate courage. * Punctuality. * Rotate shifts. **Competencies** ---------------- Build Partnerships Deliver Results Drive Innovation Grow Capabilities Promote Inclusion Motivational Fit Technical Skills
