Comply with safety regulations and proper use of PPE **OPEN POSITION: FIBER OPTIC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT** A leading telecommunications company is seeking a **FIBER OPTIC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT** to support the installation technician in activities related to fiber optic service installation, maintenance, and repair, ensuring correct task execution and compliance with quality and safety standards. Location: Tampico, Tamaulipas Vacancies: 2 Age: 18 to 45 years **Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist with fiber optic installation at residential and/or commercial premises * Prepare tools, materials, and work equipment * Perform cable laying, conduit routing, and fiber fixation * Assist with fiber splicing, connectorization, and basic testing (based on training) * Ensure order and cleanliness of the work area * Comply with safety regulations and proper use of PPE * Assist with safeguarding and transporting tools and materials * Follow instructions from the responsible technician * Assist with basic work reporting **Requirements** * Minimum education: High school diploma * Desired experience in fiber optics * Availability for fieldwork * Flexible schedule availability (rotating shifts) * Physical capability and ability to work at heights **Desired Knowledge** * Basic use of hand tools * Fundamental knowledge of structured cabling or fiber optics * Basic understanding of field safety **Competencies** * Teamwork * Responsibility * Attention to instructions * Willingness to learn * Punctuality Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite term Salary: $9,328.00 per month Benefits: * Complimentary uniforms * Grocery vouchers Relocation/Moving capability: * Tampico, Tamps.: Ability to commute to work without difficulty or plan relocation prior to starting employment (Mandatory) Application Question(s): * Do you hold a valid driver’s license and know how to drive a standard vehicle? * Are you available to work rotating weekend shifts? * Do you have letters of employment recommendation?
