Chemours is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer to join our growing technology team! This position will report directly to the Technology Manager at our Altamira, Mexico location. The Manufacturing Technology Engineer will provide support for daily operations, including continuous improvement activities, resolution of process and quality operational issues, all aimed at ensuring achievement of key business objectives. The selected candidate must be able to rapidly develop statistical analysis skills for data interpretation, as well as technical knowledge across relevant areas to support decision-making toward achieving maximum plant performance in a more efficient manner. **Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** * Provide technical support to Operations, including daily process/quality monitoring, interaction with the operations team, problem resolution, and identification and implementation of improvement opportunities. * Lead, develop, and implement improvement ideas related to safety, quality, cost, and environmental impact of the plant. * Provide engineering expertise on reactors, heat and mass transfer, mixing systems, filtration, solid separation, natural gas burners, drying technologies, bulk solid handling, etc. * Develop baseline data for Capital Process/Continuous Improvement projects. * Support capital projects: site-based technical resource to contribute to design implementation and startup preparation (documentation updates, etc.) * Provide input, draft scope of work, and direct design for simple/simplified capital projects (limited-scope MCNs) * Develop and manage process dashboards to identify issues, drive decisions, and uncover root causes/conclusions. * Collaborate with Maintenance/Reliability and Production on reliability improvements (how equipment is operated, maintained, and designed) Develop and deliver technical training to Operations (Quality, MOCs, Technology, etc.) * **Requirements for this role:** * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. + 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry + Problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong oral, written communication skills and full proficiency in English. + Ability to lead and work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams. + Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab, Aspen Control Process At Chemours, you will find sustainability in our vision, our business and your future.
