We are looking for YOUR TALENT as a SAFETY AND HYGIENE SUPERVISOR Work locations: Altamira, Tamaulipas | Local personnel 2-month project at a Storage Terminal RESPONSIBILITIES: * Request contractors, according to international standards and site-specific requirements, the necessary information to approve on-site work activities. * Review documentation submitted by contractors to verify compliance with international legal regulations and site standards (social security, skill certifications (DC-3), hazard and risk identification matrix, construction codes, drawings, etc.) * Conduct SHEQ inductions for all incoming contractors according to plant standards. * Manage SHEQ compliance for contractor companies working at the facility. * Validate information provided by contractors for high-risk work execution (high-risk work permits, hazard identification, etc.) * Deliver training on safety, health, environment, and high-risk work. * Perform periodic safety inspections of facilities according to a defined work program to identify unsafe acts and conditions. * Approve or reject industrial safety equipment and personal protective equipment to be used on site, and monitor their timely supply, use, and handling. * Provide technical support for all high-risk tasks, emergency plans, environmental management, construction, etc. * Review, archive, and store documentation and records related to legal compliance and SHEQ procedures arising from departmental activities. * Prepare reports and/or minutes related to the fulfillment of established industrial safety performance indicators, as well as progress and status reports on construction activities. * Ensure compliance with all SHEQ procedures at the Terminal. * Participate in and ensure proper investigation of any accident and/or incident occurring at the Terminal. REQUIREMENTS: * Professional degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Environmental, Chemical, Safety, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar industrial safety supervision roles. * Knowledge of regulations related to safety, health, and environment. - Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, Clean Industry standards, and desirable PBIP/CDIT Code - Knowledge of high-risk work such as confined spaces, hot work, working at heights, etc. * DC-3 desirable - Experience in preparing for and managing audits related to the department. * Proficiency in Office suite, Google applications, and software for tracking events and action plans. * English desirable (able to read and understand department-related documentation) * Experience managing and responding to emergency situations. * Strong planning, leadership, and organizational skills.
