Direct interaction with customers to ensure their satisfaction. **Job Description**We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Installation Technician** to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of data and video services on **HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial)** and **FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home)** networks. You will serve as the company’s face to the customer, guaranteeing high-speed connections and exceptional service.**Main Responsibilities** * **Installation and Configuration:** Run cabling (coaxial and optical fiber) from utility poles or manholes to the customer’s residence. * **Splicing and Fusion:** Perform optical fiber splicing and coaxial cable connectorization according to technical standards. * **Maintenance and Diagnostics:** Identify and resolve network faults—such as signal loss or fiber breaks—using testing equipment. * **Equipment Configuration:** Install and configure modems, set-top boxes, and routers to ensure proper customer internet access. * **Customer Service:** Clearly explain service functionality and respond to technical inquiries. **Candidate Requirements** * **Education:** Completed technical secondary school or high school diploma (preferably with specialization in electronics or telecommunications). * **Experience:** 1–2 years of experience installing telecommunications networks (HFC/FTTH). * **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with hand tools, ladders, measurement equipment (OTDR, Power Meter), and fiber fusion splicers. * **Physical Requirements:** Ability to work at heights (utility poles) and in confined spaces. * **Documentation:** Valid driver’s license (Mandatory). **Desired Competencies** * Attention to detail and workplace organization. * Problem-solving ability under pressure. * Excellent service attitude and communication skills.
