Job Summary We are seeking a Hydraulic Engineer with experience in the hydraulic sector to join our team in Mexico City. Responsibilities and Qualifications Responsibilities: * Support the integration of linear infrastructure projects with other disciplines such as surveying, geotechnics, alignment, structures, systems, etc. * Conduct hydrological studies, flood risk assessments, and develop minor and major drainage projects. * Develop longitudinal drainage projects. * Design channel realignment projects. * Analyze minimum subgrade elevation. * Develop hydraulic models. * Prepare hydrological and hydraulic calculation reports. * Prepare hydraulic expert opinion reports. * Prepare hydraulic performance reports. Requirements: * Education: Civil Engineer; Hydraulic Engineer; or specialization in highway hydraulic engineering. * Experience: Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience in minor and major drainage projects for road and railway infrastructure. * Knowledge of SICT regulations and standards for road design studies and projects (hydrology and hydraulics deliverables). * Theoretical knowledge of hydrology: regionalization, development of IDF curves, determination of runoff using direct and indirect methods. * Theoretical knowledge of hydraulics: hydraulic analysis of culverts and bridges. * Anti-scour protection. * Hydraulic modeling. * River hydraulics. * Solid knowledge of geometric road and railway design; practical surveying knowledge (desirable). * Tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, HEC\-RAS, QGIS/ArcGIS, HEC\-HMS, and MS Office.
