We are seeking a **LEED Specialist** responsible for leading, coordinating, and ensuring the proper implementation of sustainability strategies in interior design and construction projects. The selected candidate will serve as the technical liaison among design teams, construction teams, and environmental consultants, guaranteeing compliance with LEED certification requirements as well as project quality, schedule, and budget standards. **Key Responsibilities** **LEED Certification Management** * Develop, coordinate, and track the LEED compliance plan for each project. * Collect, verify, and upload documentation to LEED Online, ensuring appropriate evidence for each credit. * Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to obtain necessary information related to sustainability, materials, and construction processes. **Planning and Scheduling** * Develop and maintain the project’s detailed schedule, integrating specific sustainability activities and LEED-related processes from design through project delivery. **Budget Management** * Monitor costs associated with LEED strategies, sustainable materials, testing, and commissioning. * Manage change orders and ensure project objectives remain within the allocated budget. **Technical Coordination** * Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to validate compliance with LEED criteria (materials, systems, efficiency, indoor environmental quality). * Collaborate with designers and architects to integrate sustainability practices into design proposals and material selections. **Stakeholder Communication** * Serve as the primary point of contact for LEED-related matters among architects, designers, environmental consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. **Procurement and Logistics** * Support the selection of suppliers and materials with sustainable attributes (low VOC, recycled content, environmental certifications, etc.). * Verify technical data sheets and product certifications required by LEED. **On-Site Supervision** * Conduct site visits to ensure construction practices comply with LEED guidelines. * Identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions with the construction team. **Quality Control** * Implement protocols to ensure correct installation of sustainable materials and systems related to indoor environmental quality. **Documentation and Reporting** * Maintain all project documentation in an organized manner: meeting minutes, RFIs, progress reports, as-built drawings, and LEED deliverables. * Prepare LEED status reports for clients and project leadership. **Requirements** * **Education:** Architecture or Civil Engineering. * **Certification:** LEED Green Associate or LEED AP accreditation preferred. * **Experience:** 3–5 years in construction project management, interior design, or sustainability. * **Software:** Proficiency in LEED Online, AutoCAD, Revit, and project management platforms. * Knowledge of sustainable materials, building codes, and environmental best practices. * Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
