Position Title: Radiologic Technologist (Permanent) Department: Administration (Back-Office) Type: Base *Organizational Structure: Category: Radiologic Technologist (Permanent); Immediate Supervisor: Engineering Coordinator; Subordinates: N/A* Position Objective: **Perform radiodiagnostic examinations in compliance with Mexican Official Standards and/or applicable regulations; and carry out assigned duties professionally, with quality and efficiency, in accordance with Brains’ quality management system standards.** Required Education: **Completed Technical Degree** Required Profession: **Radiology or Radiotherapy Technician** Gender: **No preference** Age: **21 years or older** Additional Requirement: **N/A** Suggested Experience: **6 months or more** Suggested Experience: **Radiodiagnostic examinations, mammography acquisition, additional projection acquisition, patient care.** Computer Skills: **Microsoft Office Suite** Required Skills: **Proficiency in X-ray imaging techniques, knowledge of radiation safety, RIS/PACS** Work Location: **Michoacán** Working Days: **Monday to Saturday** Days Off: **Sunday** Willingness to Travel: **Yes** Relocation: **Desirable** Shift: **Day shift** Working Hours: **Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.** **Organizational Responsibilities** * Represent Brains before its clients, suppliers, and personnel associated with the company’s core activities, demonstrating respect, courtesy, and professionalism. * Perform required radiodiagnostic examinations at work sites designated by Brains. * Support technical and administrative documentation management for Brains’ clients and suppliers. **Main Functions** * Perform radiographic examinations adhering to national and international radiological requirements and regulations, applying appropriate medical parameters, patient morphology, and equipment specifications to ensure patient care and safety. * Provide patients with appropriate positioning instructions to ensure accurate radiodiagnostic examinations. * Explain procedures to patients to guarantee their care, safety, and comfort during the procedure. * Record performed radiodiagnostic examinations. * Comply with safety measures when operating high-radiation-emitting equipment and protective devices, ensuring patient and staff safety per the Radiation Safety Manual. * Prepare and administer contrast media to patients in accordance with current health regulations. * Inform patients—via completion of the Informed Consent Form—of potential side effects, adverse reactions, and allergic responses resulting from contrast media administration. * Identify and manage contaminant risks within the work area. * Adjust exposure time and intensity controls, calculating required contrast, density, and sharpness factors for each radiodiagnostic examination—including film acquisition—according to the specifications of the medical equipment used. * Operate radiological equipment, tools, and materials per the Radiation Safety Manual. * Process medical images obtained from radiodiagnostic examinations. * Perform proper equipment cleaning per manufacturer and/or primary distributor recommendations. * Verify correct image flow into the radiological information management system. * Submit monthly productivity reports. * Prepare records, reports, documentation, or any other administrative or technical documentation related to performed tasks, serving as evidence of services delivered and productivity.
