**MECHANIC ASSISTANT** Gas Butano, a 100% Mexican company, is looking for your talent. We are a market leader; we are passionate about serving our customers and providing them with the best experience in LP Gas supply. **Activities to perform:** Keep the vehicle fleet in the best conditions of safety, operation, and appearance, guaranteeing the reliability of the units, their engines, and mechanical systems in order to maintain optimal operation. **Functions:** * Perform physical-mechanical inspections on 100% of the vehicle fleet according to the predetermined format "Check List de salidas" * Completely, accurately, and legibly record information in the documentation of the "Check list de salidas" format * Deliver the "Check list de salidas" forms to the manager of each plant for submission to general management and document control * Ensure daily that vehicles have optimal levels of engine oil, hydraulic oil, brake fluid, coolant, air pressure, and proper physical tire conditions * Make daily reports of issues identified during inspections requiring specialized attention from the mechanical workshop * Ensure follow-up on reports submitted to the mechanical workshop * Assist the mechanical workshop in organizing and cleaning assigned areas * Support the mechanical workshop in performing preventive and corrective maintenance * Conduct monthly tire status reporting (traffic light system) and share it with the corresponding plant manager * Control and track tire replacements * Care for and properly use assigned work tools * Maintain daily communication with mechanical workshop coordinators and plant managers **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education or technical degree in automotive mechanics * 1 year of experience in similar positions * Knowledge of general mechanics * Skill in handling preventive maintenance forms for automotive units * Proficiency in using workshop tools and equipment * Ability to drive 3-ton vehicles (driver's license) * Valid driver's license * Knowledge of vehicle maintenance * Basic knowledge of Office suite * Proactive, committed, and responsible * Age: between 24 and 50 years * Skills: Learning ability, decision-making capacity, initiative **We Offer:** * Base salary * Statutory benefits * Grocery vouchers * Punctuality bonus * Attendance bonus **Benefits** * Free uniforms * Monthly grocery vouchers **Job Information** * Full-time * Workdays: Monday to Saturday * Working Hours: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (1 hour for meals) ***Interested candidates should send updated CVs through this platform or via WhatsApp 477 449 8182*** Job type: Full-time Salary: $1.00 - $2.00 per month Benefits: * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site
