





**MAGUEN DAVID HEBREW SCHOOL** **STAFF REQUISITION – FILM TEACHER AND TUTOR** **Location:** Cuajimalpa, Morelos, CDMX Area: High School **Type of contract:** Part-time (on-site) **Age range:** 25–50 **Gender:** Indistinct **POSITION OBJECTIVE** Plan, teach, and evaluate the Film subject in high school, developing audiovisual language competencies (screenwriting, photography, sound, editing, film analysis) and serving as a group tutor, supporting students' academic and socioemotional development. Align work with institutional guidelines and, where applicable, criteria from the IB Diploma Programme – Film (desirable). **REQUIRED PROFILE** **\-**Demonstrable experience in film (direction, production, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and/or post-production). **\-**Desirable: teaching or workshop experience in schools and managing high school groups. **\-**Desirable: participation in IB Film certification processes (criteria, evidence, moderation). \-Creativity and commitment to pedagogical and technical quality. \-Objective-based planning, use of rubrics, and fair assessment. \-Project management under limited time and resources; problem-solving skills. \-Assertive communication with students, families, and academic staff. \-Collaborative work, positive leadership, and respectful classroom/production discipline. \-Openness to change and continuous improvement. Education: Photography, Film, Audiovisual Arts, Communication, or Pedagogy/Didactics. \-Institutional sensitivity and student well-being as the core of tutoring. \-Administrative organization (attendance, grades, evidence, image permissions). \-Professional ethics and adherence to child protection protocols. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** Sequences planned by objectives; screenwriting, storyboard, framing, lighting, sound, editing, and film analysis. Coordination of school shoots (safety, permits, logistics), basic equipment handling, and post-production workflow. Design of rubrics, timely feedback, submission of evidence, and up-to-date record keeping. Academic/socioemotional follow-up, communication with families, referral according to protocols. Classroom rules, group management, equipment care, time management, and delivery schedule. Knowledge of criteria, support with portfolios/evidence, and certification processes.
