Through relentless innovation and continuous collaboration with our customers, GE Gas Power, part of GE Vernova, is providing more advanced, cleaner, and efficient power that people depend on today and building the energy technologies of the future. **What** **impact****you’ll** **make****:** As a member of the Gas Power Global Supply Chain Process Center of Excellence, the Inventory process specialist is the key finance partner across gas, steam, generator, heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), and repairs value streams. This role is responsible for supporting the inventory process, analytics, and reporting as part of the center of excellence to drive improvements to core finance processes enabling efficiencies to downstream operating partners. **Job Description:** **What** **you****’ll** **do** * Subject matter expert (SME) in key supply chain and financial processes related to inventory and standard costing including policies, procedures, closing and reporting * Perform ledger closing including creating and posting Manual Journal Entries (MJE) in compliance with MJE policy. Prepare quarter over quarter or year to date walk on key inventory changes, provide information for quarterly balance sheet review. * Improve reporting accuracy, efficiency and controls around pacing and actual factory inventory, inventory turns, and inventory aging \& obsolescent risks * Support controllership and sites to enhance key controls, roles \& responsibilities, and reporting around physical inventories, cycle counts, slow moving/obsolescent inventory, FIFO and financial audits * Identifies and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data analytics and reporting integrity around inventory actuals, forecasting, inventory turns, FIFO and slow\-moving inventory/obsolescence * Able to partner with key stakeholders to support development of harmonized standard global operating procedures, documenting key procedures and providing training to onboard and support extended team * Communicate and align global calendar aligned to inventory and standard costing rhythms across GSC Finance teams (annual PIs, budget, etc) * Able to identify and effectively communicate system and process differences across global supply chain * Coordinate with Data \& Analytics COE to deliver high impact financial analytics and controls that drives operational accountability, predictability and transparency **What** **you’ll** **bring (B****asic** **Q****ualification****s)** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in Accounting, Business or Finance * Knowledge of accounting policies and practices, including US GAAP of inventory * Prior knowledge of manufacturing system ERPs (i.e. SAP, Oracle) and with digital and automation tools such as Tableau, RPA * Fluent English knowledge is essential **What will make you stand out** * Existing experience within supply chain finance * Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem\-solving skills and communication skills * Established project management skills * Embrace GE Vernova Way, driving innovation, serving customers, embracing LEAN, winning as one team, and accountable to deliver **Additional Notes:** * Location: Monterrey, Mexico * Willingness to travel up to 15% **Benefits Available to You** GEV employees rise to the challenge of building a world that works.
