Diesel Mechanics Workshop Manager – Freight Transportation Requirements * Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineer specializing in diesel engines, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel mechanical workshop maintenance and management. * Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, fuel injection systems, and diesel transmissions. * Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. * Ability to lead teams and manage resources efficiently. Responsibilities and Functions * Coordinate and supervise assigned mechanics and technicians. * Plan and assign maintenance and repair tasks. * Ensure compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance programs. * Verify repair quality and proper operation of equipment. * Perform diagnostics for complex faults in diesel engines and injection systems. * Provide accurate and efficient technical solutions. * Manage tools, diagnostic equipment, and spare parts. * Request necessary supplies and maintain an organized inventory. * Document completed work and diagnosed issues. * Prepare management reports and improvement suggestions. * Train and develop the technical team on new technologies and procedures. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives in the workshop.
